Feeding Your Developing Baby
A six-week cooking series for nourishing yourself and your growing baby through pregnancy.
Pregnancy asks so much of our bodies—and it can bring an entirely new set of questions about how and what we eat.
Feeding Your Developing Baby is a hands-on cooking series for women who want to nourish themselves well during pregnancy while building practical, sustainable ways of cooking and eating that can carry them through this season and beyond.
Over six weeks, we'll cook and eat together, exploring satisfying, nutrient-rich foods and meals with an emphasis on keeping glucose levels more steady throughout the day.
This isn't about eating perfectly or following a restrictive set of rules. It's about understanding how the foods we eat work together, developing simple strategies you can actually use in everyday life, and building confidence in making choices that feel good for you.

What We'll Explore
Through hands-on cooking, conversation, and shared meals, we'll explore:
Building satisfying, nourishing meals during pregnancy
Cooking and eating in ways that support steadier glucose levels
Pairing and sequencing foods to help reduce glucose spikes
Incorporating protein, fiber, healthy fats, vegetables, and whole foods into everyday meals
Breakfasts, snacks, and simple meals that are easy to rely on
Grocery shopping and keeping a kitchen that makes nourishing yourself easier
Finding realistic ways to eat well when energy, appetite, and schedules change
Developing cooking rhythms that can continue to support you after your baby arrives
Most importantly, we'll cook. The goal is for these ideas to become something you can experience and practice—not simply information to take home.
Nourishing Yourself While Growing a Baby
Pregnancy can suddenly make food feel complicated.
There is an enormous amount of information about what you should eat, what you shouldn't eat, and what you're supposed to be doing for your growing baby.
This course is an invitation to approach food from a different place: with curiosity, pleasure, connection, and an understanding of how to build meals that nourish you.
Rather than focusing on restriction, we'll focus on what we can add—more nourishment, more variety, more confidence, and more ease.
Come for the Cooking. Stay for the Community.
There is something special about gathering around a kitchen table with other women who are in the same season of life.
This course is intentionally small so there is room not only to cook and learn, but also to talk, share, ask questions, and get to know one another.
My hope is that the connections formed here extend beyond our six weeks together—that this becomes a place to find community and build a circle of support as you move through pregnancy and into motherhood.
Who This Is For
This course is best suited for women in their first or second trimester of pregnancy, as well as women who are planning to become pregnant soon.
No particular level of cooking experience is needed. Come as you are.
